Medical Problems: Matthew is physically fit and has nothing wrong with him health wise, but his mental status is questionable. He is believed to suffer from Bipolar disorder.
Physical Appearance: Matthew is quite a short man, standing only around 5’6”. His physique consists of a lean body and a bony skeletal structure. He has a slightly tanned skin tone, originally pale (the tan isn’t very much obvious). His eyes are a mixture of blue with green speckles, and he squints often. He has a full head of dark brown hair, and often keeps a goatee grown (though his indecisiveness could change that, too). He has a habit of wearing darker clothes, and generally doesn’t smile much on account of slightly sharpened teeth.
Personality: Matthew is a bit of a worry case. He tends to be a hermit and keeps to himself, pacing his room for hours at a time. He is extremely paranoid. In his manic moods (the ups to his disorder) he tends to become a happy, carefree, grinning man who walks the halls whistling (he also claims to be a teacher, as most students don’t know what he looks like). In his depressive moods, however, he becomes a paranoid, self-harming shell of a man. Matthew tends to hide it, but hate is the core of his self-esteem. He doesn’t get close to others easily, and tends to smile and wave off social invitations. He’s not a generally strict Headmaster, and is very intuitive. He is one of the very few graduates (and was the same as a student) that could sense the other seven elements and their clan members around him, as this is an extremely rare gift that landed him the job he has now.

He was given fencing, horseback riding, wrestling, survival, and the highest educational training at a young age and was never allowed to go to public school, being as he was homeschooled. When he was shipped off to The Academy, he was quickly washed up into a world of social isolation, hate, and realization that he was not who he thought he was. He was a top student, though, and was quickly recognized for his abilities. He was eventually a feared but hated figure at school after an incident ended with a student in a coma, a result of Matthew’s depressive moods. He graduated without much excitement, having isolated even his parents, and was asked to take a teaching job as a Dark Clan Teacher. Within ten years, he was appointed Headmaster after his predecessor, his only friend, passed away. He decided to be a figure that wasn’t recognized and stayed out of the school’s sight, which created rumors about his appearance, personality, and background. Teachers know him, but he tends to avoid their social attempts. Since his promotion, he has controlled the school from his room, barely known to students.
